Hmm you should go about 300-500 mb space with about 7-10 gb bandwidth. That should be good for you.

I just checked GoDaddy, not only does that name fit it is available. you can buy it for 9 bucks a year.

Yes it's just a different company that makes it. It's providing the same services.

cPanel basically lets you have complete control over the amount of space your host has alloted for you. It lets you do everything from having mysql databases to setting up email accounts. I suggest you only use hosts that have cPanel.

Wow first time ive seen godaddy down for maintinance. About the username im not sure but I think you can go up to 10-12 letters. Again I am not sure you would need to do research to find that.

Yea you can get domain names such as: Holly-Brown.com Holly-Brown-Family.com TheHolly-Browns.com You would need to go to a domain registrar such as http://godaddy.com to find out if these domains are available.

That would actually be a perfect deal for a family website. I say go for it.

You will probably only use about 10GB bandwidth at most. Oh and bandwidth is spelled like BANDWIDTH :D.

Its actually the amount of data that can be transmitted in a fixed amount of time from the host server to the client server. An average site uses up about 10 GB of bandwidth a month. Sites like eBay use up way more.
