I am using adsense on my blog for the last one and half month and I have earned only about $20 so far. I used only free classified sites to advertise my blog. But now I am going to use other methods to bring more traffic to my blog which will increase my adsense revenue. lol

A very reputed PTC site is clixsense. I am a premium member there. It has a low payout -- $10. I have been paid twice. You can also earn from your referrals. :D

If you want targeted traffic then buying it from PTC ( Pay To Click) sites may not work. If you want to advertise other similar sites then it's probably OK. But for affiliate marketing/selling your product , it may not work. It is better to use Adwords and use SEO to bring search engine...

I always use Digg and Stumbleupon for bringing traffic to my site. But the traffic depends a lot on the quality of the content. If the content is good, I get good traffic. :)

Submission to forum directories and social bookmarking sites might help in bringing traffic to a new forum. 8-)

Text links are much better than banners. Banners have a very low click thru rate.

I would like to know wether submission to social bookmarking sites offer the same benefits as those obtained from directory submissions. Advice from fellow members will be appreciated.

Presently I have 2 Blogs. One is about online moneymaking and the other one is health related. I plan to start two more -- one about credit cards and one about forex trading. :D
