In truth, it depends on what you're goal is. If you want a lot of interaction and active participation from your readers, then the forum seems like the way to go. If you're looking just to share your finds, opinions, or whatever and just to allow comments or remarks, then the blog is preferable. A lot of folks do both because they are really to meet two completely different purposes.
