Forum Tutorials?

Currently I am using SMF. I picked SMF because it was free and that was what was on my Cpanel.
I have been unable to find any skins or themes that I like, and that will work with my adsense mod. Anyone know where I can find a tutorial for coding my own SMF themes, that is written in really basic non-coder language?

don't know about any tutorials but I'm using SMF myself for many years and familiar with way theming is done, so feel free to ask questions if you got them. BTW you may check my forum to see how I intergrated AdSence code into boards and forums, it was done manually without mod.
