Is anyone here into taking digital photos? I just got a new camera from my parents for christmas :D Its a really nice one. Finepix S5600

megapixels are important if you intend to do big prints of your photographs or going to upload them to some photo stock, otherwise 3mp is not that bad, I'm taking all my photos with 4mp for many years and previously I've used 2mp camera on which I've made my bestseller photo(I didn't actually upload any 4mp photos so maybe if I do people would buy them also, who knows :roll: ).
So my point is that it's not worth to worry about megapixel which currently become just marketing trick to lure customers, and in reality there are cameras with lower megapixels but better picture sharpness than higher megapixel cameras.
 
I take a lot of pictures with my digicam and my professional camera, it is just my hobby, nothing else really.
 
I LOVE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY :D

I use our school's camera. A Canon 350D i think with 8 mega pixels.

Very capable camera :D

Hey, I'm buying a new digicam, can somebody please tell me a good camera for less than 200$ and around 8mp. Preferably Cannon...
