There is no top web host - there are just hosts who suit your needs (e.g. dedicated, vps, shared hosting or specific needs for databases or certain versions or service levels or...) and hosts who don't. And as everyone has different needs....

It can be quite confusing when you first look at all of the different web hosting companies, and if you are new to it you may not understand all of the terminology.
